Beijing Olympic boycott move
The Philippine team for the Summer Olympic Games will not join any move
to boycott the Beijing Olympics or even its opening ceremonies on
August 2008.
That’s the assurance made by Philippine Olympic Committee President Jose Cojuangco to Chinese embassy officials.
POC deputy Secretary General Mark Joseph said Cojuangco met with a
Chinese attaché and discussed the Philippines’ pledge to fully
